Facing extensive price pressure, high service requirements from retailers and consolidation of acquired product lines, Stanley Black and Decker needed to reduce excess inventory, from finished goods through component levels.

Solution
Stanley Black and Decker deployed Logility Voyager Inventory Optimization and developed a user-friendly inventory management process, reduced finished goods inventory by 27% in the largest North American plant and reduced projected on-hand inventory for raw materials and components by 17%, all while maintaining target service levels.
