About Our Client

Our client, an international company specialized in the consumer goods industry, located in the area of Zurich, is currently looking for a motivated and detail oriented Supply and Inventory Coordinator (m/f) to start as soon as possible.

Job Description

  • Supervise and analysis of product availabilities
  • Regular communication and coordination between the global production and supply plants
  • Analysis of inventory and stock levels to assure on time supply
  • Proactively manage excess stock levels
  • Track and monitor inbound shipments as well as reprioritizing shipment needs
  • Develop of various reports in regards to inventory levels (low / high stock) as well as monitoring of KPIS such as fill rate, excess and gross inventory
  • Play an active part in the weekly calls with other offices in order to ensure smooth transition between the various distribution centers
  • Manage communication between various departments such as customer service, planning teams, marketing and supply chain

The Successful Applicant

  • Successfully completed Higher Education (preferably specialized in Supply Chain)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role such as planning, inventory management, merchandise planning or procurement
  • Fluency in English is a requirement, any other languages are an asset
  • Solid knowledge in SAP (MM and SD) and Excel (Pivot tables and Vlookup)
  • Able to prioritize, strong communication skills and work under pressure as a team player
  • Analytical, solution oriented and able to deal with a fast moving and multicultural environment
