Our client is a famous luxuy company, based in Geneva

Job Description

Your main tasks will be:

Stock transactions' recording

  • Code, book the invoices linked to stock (in SAP MM) and perform cost controls
  • Perform and control daily interfaces between auxiliary sales system and the books
  • Calculate and book provisions/estimates related to stock and inventory adjustments
  • Prepare and file all legal, fiscal and customs documentation linked to Import/Export flows

Support stores commercial activity

  • Act as key user of the auxiliary sales system and the back office activities
  • Train the sales staff with relation to inventory flows in both systems
  • Follow up replenishment and specific shops' requests related to stock
  • Follow up of all stock movements between the stores, the departments, the Group companies and third parties
  • Liaise with shipping and forwarding agents

Compliance with Group guidelines

  • Organise and supervise inventory counts according to company guidelines & specific calendars
  • Create and update local Inventory Control and Sales related procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Internal Control guidelines related to inventory & sales
  • Monitor stock insurance limits
  • Implement any project requested by the Company and/or the Group

Analysis & reporting

  • Perform stock quality analysis monthly and when needed
  • Perform monthly stock/sales reconciliations between auxiliary systems and the books
  • Prepare KPI and other reports to Management and Corporate

The Successful Applicant

  • Holder of a university degree in Economics or equivalent studies
  • First experience as an inventory analyst in the retail sector required
  • You have 3 years logistic experience in the Swiss Market and knowledge of Import/Export and VAT rules.
  • Excellent knowledge in SAP / Excel (formulas, data management and pivot table) and you like playing with figures
  • You are a team player
  • You like to develop yourself and others
  • You have an excellent analytical mind to problem solving
  • you have initiative and you are autonomous, you know how to manage several projects in a simultaneous way and work in a timely manner
