Our client, an international company specialized in the consumer goods industry located in the area of Bern, is currently looking for a motivated and detail oriented Head of Supply Chain (m/f) to start as soon as possible.

• Manage a team of 5 supply chain coordinators

• Coordinate the day to day supply chain operation

• Supervise and analysis of product availabilities

• Responsible for the buying process (operational and strategical) of raw materials, components and semi-finished goods

• Control on time delivery of the shipments (international scope)

• Coordinate various projects together with internal and external stakeholders

• Optimize and monitor the supply chain processes

• Track and monitor inbound shipments as well as reprioritizing shipment needs

• Develop of various reports in regards to the supply chain department

• Responsible for the procurement of consumables

• Management of the suppliers list and coordinate the price negotiations

• Analyse and develop new processes for the sourcing of new suppliers

• Manage communication between various departments such as customer service, planning teams and marketing

• Successfully completed Higher Education (preferably specialized in Supply Chain)

• First-hand experience in the management of a team

• Solid work experience within the chemical industry

• Fluency in English and German are a requirement and any other languages are a plus

• Solid knowledge in Excel (Pivot tables and Vlookup)

• Able to prioritize, strong communication skills and work under pressure as a team player

• Analytical, solution oriented and able to deal with a fast moving and multicultural environment
